Get to know you
Let's talk.
Are we a fit? Let's have a quick call and find out. I’ll get a solid understanding of your project scope, goals, and timeline — and you’ll get a sense if I’m the right person for the job.
I will
You will have a grasp of:
Listen and take notes
Ask pointed questions
Grind out the details
What you're getting
What the process is
When you can expect the written-goodness in your hand
If we have synergy, I'll send you a proposal or work. This will include a detailed list of deliverables, a firm project quote, and a general timeline
You will get a sense of how much you'll have to be involve and how much I'll need from you to craft the copy.
Know where you're going.
Sometimes, our first call will reveal that you’re not clear about the copy you need. You need 'em, but you just don't know where to start.”
Not a problem. We’ll schedule a road mapping session to plot your goals, develop a strategy, and figure out which marketing materials make the most sense for your business right now.
The consultation will be on the house
Make it happen
We're a fit? Awesome
Once you accept my proposal and sign the agreement, I’ll finalize your project kickoff date and you’ll make a 50% deposit
Then, I’ll put on my detective hat and inspect to the roots your product, brand, and goals, via:
A detailed branding questionnare
A comprehensive phone kickoff session (60-90 minutes)
Extensive industry + market research
Down-to-the-bone competitive analysis
Meticulously reviewing all your customer's generated content including Reviews, feedback, testimonials, tagged posts, etc...
I will:
Internalize your company's branding
Get a good feel of the voice and tone you're looking for
Create a persona of your dream customer
Learn about the persona pain and pleasure like they're my closet friends
Analyze your competitors marketing for pros and cons - know the gap for you to shine
I might:
Be prepared for lots of questions from me, because you know your business best.
I will "LIVE" like your target audience- feel what they feel, connect with them, read what they read, and talk how they talk. I want to hear firsthand their PAIN, and experiences and what gets them up in the morning soring to go.
Analyze previous marketing efforts
Schedule interviews with your best customers
Carefully craft a survey for your list
Ask to speak to relevant team members (sales-marketing-customer service, etc...)
I need to know EVERYTHING that could help me to produce the best possible copy for maximum results.
If you have anything that could help me (yourself), you gotta let me know
With this information and a delicious cup of cappuccino, I'll work my magic and send you a detailed summary outline. This outline will give you a clear copy breakdown, showing you which messaging and concepts will be featured in each section. Once the outline is reviewed and approved, I'll get started and produce the first draft before our agreed-upon deadline
The first draft will include lots of follow-up comments and question
Polishing
Here's where the rough draft gets to transform into that money-printing copy! You will review my first draft and send your honest feedback. The harder, more precise the feedback will only polish your copy into a better diamond (in other words- Don't hold back on your criticisms)
Then I'll polish the copy with your edits until it feels like you're reading your thoughts
Field-test
Sure you and I could read this copy and think it's the next best thing after Sunday, but our customer will tell you differently. That's where we field-test our creation.
How it works
First of all, if you are a more established company, with list of at least 1000+ customers, then A/B testing is the most straight forward way to test the copy against a control (in this case, your old one)
If you are a newer business, don't worry. I also have a few tricks up my sleeves when it comes to testing copy, but we'll go into the detail once we work together.
Once the copy is field-tested, it's time to launch.
I'm a serious copywriter who's obsessed with getting actual results. That's why after launch, you will keep me updated on your end.
If the audience is not responding well, or the stats are stagnant, let me know and we can work something out (no extra charge)
Analysis

If my copy does not "out-perform" your current copy... then keep the damn money. I only accept your payment when I can produce results for you.*
*after a reasonable time, my copy doesn't produce results and you have concrete and reasonable proof from your analysis showing it SUCKs, I'll refund you your money in full, no excuses given
